Abstract

This article is an attempt to present the few information which is available about Maimon Gallipapa and it explains the false attribution of his works to Yosef ben Meir ibn Zabarra. After enumerating the manuscripts and the editions of his three satires, the author comments on those dealing with misogyny: «A Widows' Vow» and «The Constentions of a Wife». They are translated into Spanish for the first time.
