A Mythical Hero in Modem Hebrew Literature: Amnon, the Hero of 'Ahabat Siyon

Abstract

This article is essentially the analysis of the mythical structure of the hero in the novel Ahabat Siyon, of Abraham Mapu, who is experimenting a gradual development from an unformed state until the situation of a complete being, without any mythical essence.
