Main current trends in Religious and Secular Judaism in the Western World and in Spain

Abstract
Judaism is not an unifying body. Main differences are over: beliefs, philosophical values, religious observance and practices, social trends or ideological options. In this article, two matters will be tackled: how did Spanish Judaism grow and alter in the last fifteen years all over the Peninsula (point 2). Prior to that, the main Judaic trends in the Western world will have been focused on with regard to what is known as ‘orthodoxy’ (point 1). The whole subject will be approached according to the sociology of the religions standards and not in terms of any religious or historical point of view.
