The Ŷinās as reflected in Andalusi Hebrew poetry

Abstract

This paper includes a comparative analysis of the uses of the rhetorical figure respecting the homonyms and paranomasia in Arabic and Andalusi Hebrew poetry. In this paper, we pretend to make a first approach to the subject, and for this we will relate some cases of ŷinās that we found out in Arabic poetry and Andalusi Hebrew poetry, according to the definition given by Arab scholars.
