Abstract
Throughout his written work, Patrick Modiano has achieved to illustrate a lot of the conflicts that contemporary society is suffering and has given a significant role to Judaism in most of his literary productions, employed to denounce the excess that was committed against that people. Both the structure and the content of his texts allude to the way of life that Jewish people were obliged to have during the French period of the Occupation and the postwar years, analyzing matters that nowadays are alarming other writers, like the crisis in which the postmodern subject is submerged in these last decades.
