From a selection of feminist articles, written in the magazine al-Muqtat,.af, this paper tries to offer us a clear vision of a specific historical event: the feminist Nahd,.a in the Arab World, in particular in Egypt. The analysis and study of these articles’ subjects brings a new perspective to the Modernist and Reformist Intellectual Movement during the events of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the role of women in this reawakening and their importance in influencing the new ideological direction.Downloads
