Keywords:
Religiosity, Islamic traditions, Mu'tazila, Muslim Theology, Medieval IslamAbstract
Al-Jahiz, one of the most original authors of Medieval Islam, and organizer of Arabic prose, shows in his numerous works the religiosity and the Islamic traditions of his time. Al-Jahiz shared the Mu'tazila principles and defended its doctrines in his books. This essay studies al-Jahiz's Mu'tazilite opinions in his numerous works, within the framework of the religiosity and the Islamic traditions of his time, as well as his contributions, although limited, to the Mu'tazila doctrine.Downloads
