Abstract

Posits, firstly, that Castle Nadjd is the Alijares Royal Palace itself, thus dating back to the early 13th century, still during the Almohad period; secondly, that the construction of the Royal Household of Santo Domingo dates back to the end of the 13th century, under the initiative of Ibn al-Hakim of Ronda; and finally, that the Rebites are to be identified as the site for the old “Foreigners Cemetery”.
