The moriscos in Istanbul and Anatolia. Approaching to their study

The presence of moriscos in the eastern lands of the Ottoman Empire, as Anatolia or Istanbul, has been largely neglected by Spanish scholars. As an introduction to the subject, this paper deals with the politics of Ottoman Empire about moriscos and their establishment in Istanbul and another cities in Anatolia, as well as the activities that they held and their influence as a social group.Downloads
