Abstract

Focuses on the Spanish foreign policy toward the Arab and Muslim World from the perspective of Franco's meetings in person with regional leaders. The summits are considered as indicators of international public relations as well as of the level of affinity and mutual support between the states. Franco's summits had different aims, such as signing of political, cultural or economic treaties, but above all they were used as a propaganda tool of great value for the regime's image
