Los valores paisajísticos. Elementos para la articulación entre teoría e interpretación del paisaje

Abstract

This paper tries to help to answer the following question: which are the links that join the landscape theory and the landscape characterization? After giving a panoramic view of these two fields, the paper explores two territories that can help to illuminate the asked question: the philosophical hermeneutics initiated by the German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer (1900-2002); and the Tableau de la géographie of the France, written by Paul Vidal de la Blache (1845-1918). Finally, it is developed, based especially on these two contributions, a theoretical frame aimed at the joint between the contemporary landscape theory and the practice of the landscape characterization.
