The social needs of any society for experts having knowledge of foreign languages are increasing with the expansion of the international business contacts, activation of the professional activities, the globalization of the technological, production, commercial and political level.
The foreign languages training at higher educational institutions of Economics are characterized by vocational orientation. Its tasks are determined by the communicative and cognitive competency of the experts in a particular field.
The communicative competency implies not only skills in using a foreign language but acquiring knowledge providing the foundation for real communication. In the professional and business communication, a special attention should be given to the professional communicative competency, i.e. the habits of business communication in various professional situations. Hence, the necessity for developing habits in Economics students of adequate orientating at a professional level and relaying business information in a foreign language ensues.
