Punctuation is regarded in the framework of concept-based text analysis.

Punctuation means & techniques of organizing language units are defined as a system of structure – forming components belonging to different levels of the language. Punctuation system is understood as a complex of language means manifesting relations of adjunction, disjunction, attraction and expansion of linguistic elements to represent the author’s view of the ward in language terms.

Modern informational society requires high culture of written speech. That level can be reached on the base of new methodological and methodic approaches to studying and teaching punctuation. Such approaches, being provided by new theoretical points of nominatively pragmatic linguistic paradigm.
