Abstract

Edition of the “judgment of disqualifications” that, in the context of a lawsuit initiated years before between the villa of Santa Fe and don Álvaro de Luna, was celebrated in the spring of 1518 to question the declarations that, in the above mentioned judicial process, there deposed the witnesses that there presented the homonymous grandson of the famous acquaintance condestable of Castile. Beyond the spontaneity and the formulism of some expressions, the fret of this brief document resides in the testimony that reaches on how the new Castilian owners, already were particular or institutional, they rented the memory of the from Granada Moriscos to defend your interests and these how they offered to it or to denounce it, demonstrating this way an internal diversity that must be underlined in the study of the problem that arose in the kingdom of Granada after the Castilian conquest and up to the moment of the expulsion of the last subjects andalusíes.
