Abstract

In the wide scene of the studies about the Spanish erudition during the Eighteenth Century, the analysis of the epistolary genre is more and more richer in informations. The interest of the Franciscan Rafael Rodriguez Mohedano about the writings by Cándido María Trigueros is the origin of several letters, rich in biographical facts, specially about Trigueros personality. About 1775, when the lettres were writed, his historical pieces were more important than his literary works. Finally, the lettres here presented allow to know in depth some aspects of the Spanish Enlightenment.
