Abstract

Viceroyalty’s Institution was one of the most important of Colonial Spanish America and for this reason we study hear to her, emboding in two viceroys of Philip the Second’s time —Luis de Velasco the Older and Francisco de Toledo— wich respectively ruled Mexico and Peru. After; an historical introduction and a political and human description about both, in this long reign, this work-centre the two viceregal periods, faced in the New World to deep changes about the spanish presence and the continuity or not of the indigenous civilization in front of this rise.
