Abstract

Descriptive and itemized vision of the Venice of the first years of the 17th century through the Relationship elaborated by the diplomatic granadino Don Alonso of the Cueva Benavides, Marquis of Bedmar, for their majesty Felipe III after their stay in this legation during more than 12 years, on the one that counts him all the aspects related with the military force, the finances and the political-institutional organization of this Italian republic.
