Access to justice is one of the central axes of critical law theories and anti-formalist movements and it has been debated within feminist legal projects. In recent years it has been classif ied as a human right and it has been explicitly recognized in some international laws. Access to justice has not been named in the Spanish legal language, but many of its standards include several elements that compose it. The Organic Law 1/2004 of 28th December, of integral protection measures against gender-based violence is one of them. We are interested in expose whether this reflects broader conceptions of access to justice, particularly those established by the most transformative feminist legal projects and there- fore, whether it is a useful tool to overcome the formalistic and androcentric logic which has traditionally characterized Law and Justice Systems.
