To educate citizens for democracy appears to be the goal of pluralist societies, but not for any form of democratic organization, but for one that understands that the exercise of personal autonomy and the training of the will through the logic of dialogue are indispensable. To reach this goal, it seems necessary to cultivate human capital (technical skills and knowledge), social capital (social skills) and the prudence to develop a good life. But not only that, also needed is a sense of justice, exercised within the framework of mutual recognition in the framework of a dialogue that is built not only on logic but also on sentiment. To spell out these points is the aim of this article.
