Una mirada sociocrítica sobre la mujer inmigrante en el documental español reciente

Abstract

We apply some concepts of the Edmond cros’ sociocritical theory to examine the representation of women immigrants in recent spanish non-fiction cinema (2000-2010) in order to visibilize the transcoding of the spanish  social structure in their film texts. at  the same time, we obser ve the persistence of the subordinate role of women and non-conscious reproduction of a patriarchal framework. We also verify the use of the image of women immigrants in favor of sustaining the sign of the modernization of spain.
