Abstract

The textual expression of loveand eroticismis a sample of the symbolic economy of society in a historical moment. The question ing of the patriarchal orderis present in the spanish  poetry of the late twentieth century, with the construction of plurally rical subjects which offer innovative poetic speechesin a constant dialogue with the tradition. The archetype of romantic love between an active male subject and a passive female subject is challenged in a society where the requirement of non-discrimination on grounds of genderare supported by the lawsand the struggle for the sign is manifested in many ways, especially in poetic writing.
