The project-based learning analyzed in this article started from a problem detected in our high school, namely, the disconnection between the school and its close environment. The teacher of general music considered creating a radio in order to connect both realities through a creative work and from a critical perspective, according to the idea of This concept defines individuals who act as emisors and receivers at the same time and develop a critical perspective about media.

The assessment of the project confirms the positive results from a curricular perspective, even though it assesses deficiencies regarding the time each group of students devoted to the project.
