Abstract
This article analyzes the origin of the CLIL/AICLE methodology as a response to the growing demand for bilingualism and its effective use in the children’s classroom through illustrated albums. This didactic resource provides the opportunity for students to acquire, through the 4C’S, the Bloom´s Taxonomy (LOTS and HOTS) and the functionalities of the neurodidactic approach, the non-maternal language in a dynamic, multisensory way, as well as enhancing the imagination and critical thinking. Through a case study of an illustrated album titled Spot goes to school, we worked in a session on the mentioned aspects.
