Abstract
This paper focuses on a practical proposal carried out in Spanish Courses of the Foundation at the University of Burgos and it aimed at working the description and the family relationship in the A1 level. Since the activity focuses on reading comprehension, it has been necessary to reflect previously on the characteristics of the texts of this level in order to create those of our proposal. Furthermore, we have tried to emphasize on the reading objectives presented to the student, since the consulted sources emphasize that these can make the activity more motivating and, therefore, that the student is more involved and can also can contribute to avoid the methodological routine when dealing with reading activities.
