Abstract
Jewish people in the Medieval Arab World, especially those from Al-Andalus, reached an outstanding level in the field of secular sciences. Nevertheless, they didn’t have centres or adequate systems for the learning of these sciences. This paper is an approach to this subject that focuses on two of theses secular sciences, namely Grammar and Medicine, and analyzes the role played by Masters in the transmission of such disciplines.
