Abstract

This paper is the first part of a study about the great collection of legal response (fatwàs) issued in al-Andalus aud North Africa of al-Wanšarīsī (m.914/1508): al-Miˁyar almuˁrib wa-l-ŷāmiˁ al-mugrib ˁan fatāwà ˁulamāˀ lfrīqiya wa-l-Andalus wa-l-Magrib. The present article focuses on sorne aspects of the work: title, date and place of redaction, sources, manuscripts, editions and translations.
