Abstract
This paper analizes wage differences between migrants from Paraguay and natives from Argentina following Oaxaca’s proposal. This methodology allows to make a decomposition of this gap in two factors: those origined in individual characteristics (that generate different productivity) and the estimated effects of «discrimination» (people with similar characteristics but receive different salary). The estimations are made under two different ways: with and without self selection bias correction wich was proposed by Heckman. The data source is Encuesta Permanente de Hogares de Argentina (first and third quarter, 2006).
