Abstract

In the processes of interrelation between the so-called models of regional development with the environment, new approaches emerge, in order to adapt to a complex and, above all, changing reality, where anthropic risks become more relevant. In territories such as the Galician Rias Baixas, where important transformations are taking place, especially those related to the construction of infrastructures such as the «Corredor del Morrazo» and the extension of the Rande Bridge, they are pointed out in the link between the natural environment and the evolution of the economic system, society and new technological means, in line with the «market» and the intervention of the public authorities not corrupted. In the present study it is shown how the failure of the environmental impact assessment implies devastating repercussions for the ecosystems on which the infrastructures of the so-called «Corredor del Morrazo» are located and run.
