Tratamiento de los espacios fluviales urbanos andaluces en la planificación territorial y sectorial

Abstract

Recovery and conservation of urban river areas must be inserted within the processes of territorial and sectoral management. This paper analyses the evolution and changes in urban river areas in Andalusia during the last decades, through the analysis of several plans. To study the relations between territorial and sectoral planning and urban river areas it has been made a compilation of currently approved or pending documents. The paper highlights the progress in water management over the period, but also the inertias, resistances and new problems associated. The effort for the management of urban river areas has not been reflected in the results, being the interrelationships between water and land management (regional, sub regional and municipal) still an unresolved issue.
