Abstract
Melilla is a key geographical location for different cultures. This diversity is precisely one of the great attractions of this unique destination. In this paper we present the results of an investigation to determine the demographic profile of tourists visiting the city, their motivations and assessment of different variables. The main findings allow us to say that the beaches, heritage, gastronomy, and cultural diversity are elements to strengthen tourism in the destination.
