Abstract
The data of the connected population (población vinculada) on the Census 2001 open up new perspectives to the studies of the spatial localisation of the population, especially those that pretend to measure the effect of the population in the territory, the mobility and the interdependence. This supposes possible advances on the knowledge of systems of settlement and of the territorial structures.
