Abstract
Medicinal flora and ancestral Indian healing remedies must be further researched by a wide range of social and natural scientists together with pharmaceutical experts in order to create more suitable and comprehensive alternate formulas to solve health problems in developing countries. The paper presents a comparative study of medicinal herb consumption, trade and cultivation within four Latin American metropolises.
