Abstract
The urbanization process in Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve it is leaving a relevant mark in landscape, not only by the development of the urban spaces, but also through the urban sprawl in rural centres in non urban area. Their location has favoured a different development each case and thus, a different landscape result. In this paper an analysis of the visual component of this process has been made, and of its distortion on landscape quality.
