The forecast of demonstrations in Spain by using a time series analysis. an open data study.

Human nature inevitably leads to conflict of interests. For this reason, the political and social changes, promoted by the globalization and digital media, will not prevent that this phenomenon stops. We like to protest but, what is happening with this matter in Spain? According with statistics, the level of protest in this country is higher than other places in the EU. Nevertheless, the empirical evidence is scant. In this way, this paper aims to study the spatial and temporal evolution of the demonstrations in Spain since 2010 to 2019. We also have considered the incidents that happened in that acts, trying to establish a ratio. In addition, we select some factors to check their link with the organization of protests. Finally, we made a prediction for the evolution of the number of protests in Spain in 2020-2023, by using an ARIMA approach. The data for the development of this essay were recolected from different secondary sources.
