Abstract

Describing the ideological discourse as a dynamic nebulous made of varied stratums, Edmond Cros analyses the representations of the immigrant in the french social imagination. Th representations transcribe the colonial cultural subject’s impact where coexist two conflicting social imaginations inside a single psychological structure in the context of a semiotic continuity which links up the reality and the fantasy.
