Abstract

The present cultural and discursive approaches of the Theory have two important consequences: the abandonment of the artistic-literary distinctiveness and the development of a purely ideological criticism. In this article, I support the idea that these changes may place the literary studies back to the point that were before the implementation of the literary theory as an independent subject. It is proposed, thus, to return to the central thesis of the structuralism, although under the optic of the hermeneutic and the post-structure. The central thesis of  this work is that a literary hermeneutic with a socio-critical objective should not avoid the structural positioning of “literarity” and of “immanent analysis”. The approach to the literary work as an ideological discourse, which characterize the present cultural analysis, is thus contested in this contribution on the basis of  the development of the principles and fundaments of what I consider as the constructional hermeneutic.
