Abstract

The women’s disobedience to the directions of culture is not a recent action, or an action of just a few decades ago, although, conceptualization of this kind of disobedience can be considered of a recent nature. This article discusses the approaches of Hispanic–american women writers, regarding the materialization of women’s disobedience in different literature genders, especially poetry. The main objective of this paper is to present reflective and challenging formulations, together with resistance and rebellion patterns. In this article chronologically speaking, the textual corpus corresponds to last decades of the twentieth century, however, not excluding some references to earlier relevant texts from the past.
