Abstract

It presents an essay about the extreme barbarism practiced by ethnocentric and fanatical cultural systems. For this purpose is referred to as the representative Islamic State or Nazism. It works with the hypothesis that the general educational ineffectiveness against this kind of barbarism is related to their poor understanding. Your goal is to try to define some basics that may be useful for an eventual Pedagogy and education against barbarism based on the complexity and consciousness for, from them, advance along the path of understanding and educational action. As befits trial methodology, the author»s arguments supported by reasons and precedents sources will be presented. Since it is not a review article and by the scarcity of scientific papers on education and barbarism from Pedagogy, selection of sources is enough to try to meet the study objective. The main contributions of the paper are a conceptual contribution of barbarism from a pedagogical point of view and a proposal for an education foundation against extreme barbarity made from the «Radical and inclusive approach of the training» (Herran, 2014a).The study»s findings point to an educational commitment of all with this huge and permanent challenge, since each self, conceptualized as part of the complex phenomenon of barbarism observed. The work will be divided into the following parts: introduction, reflections on the extreme cultural barbarism and its relativity, ordinary ways to combat this barbarism, education as one of those ways, some foundations for an education against extreme barbarity and some conclusions. This is an epistemological contribution to a possible Pedagogy of barbarism, not a pedagogical proposal applied to be held in a later work.
