Abstract

This paper presents a conceptual abstract of the Peace studies, specifically on Education for Peace through the theoretical basis of professor Xesús R. Jares and the substantive elements such as positive peace and creative perspective of the conflict.

It also analyzes the education from a humanistic vision, the importance of values in education and clarification of values in the tutoree, likewise for Academic Tutoring Programs at the Autonomous University of Mexico State, the specific case: Faculty of Political and Social Science.

I believe this investigation can provide many fundamentals elements to contribute to the first steps to achieve a culture of peace in practice under the principles of Education for Peace. Thus, based on the implementation of an Intervention Tutorial Program propose the design, implementation and evaluation of Tutorial Action Plan, which responds to the academic needs of the institution, to carry out in 2010.
