Good editorial practices in gender equality

The Miscelánea de Estudios Árabes y Hebraicos. Sección Hebreo journal is committed to promoting equality between men and women, visibility of women's scientific work, and the use of inclusive language in scientific publications.

This editorial policy is reflected in the percentage of women in the composition of the editorial boards and teams, and in the percentage of female reviewers of the papers received by the journal - exceeding 40% -, as well as in the inclusion of the full names of both male and female authors of the published works to make their gender visible.

The journal's editorial team recommends the use of non-sexist language in the texts submitted for publication, in accordance with the guidelines contained in the Guide for Non-Sexist Language Use developed by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and published in July 2022.
