Abstract

This article offers a description of a sephardic manuscript, containing secular and religious songs, compiled by a Sephardic jew of Gibraltar called Abraham Israel between 1761 and 1770. The manuscript belonged to the bibliophile sir Thomas Phillipps and now is preserved in the the National Library in Madrid.
