Abstract
As a continuation of the article published under the same title (Second Part) in MEAH/H 60 (2011), pages 273-299, the author presents here a thorough review of the article by Josef Tropper, «Althebräisches und semitisches Aspektsystem» (1998) and of the book by Alex van de Sande, Nouvelle perspective sur le système verbal de l'hebreu ancien. Les formes *qatala, *yaqtul et *yaqtulu (2008), whose reading, a few years ago, caused on him a very favourable impression, because both of them tackle «The Enigma of the Hebrew Verbal System» from a diachronic and comparatistic viewpoint. The author hopes to complete this study in a next number of MEAH/H with some personal reflections on the theme.
