Abstract
The aim of this article is to show and to examine the instruments of town and country planning that the Autonomous Community of Cantabria has at present.
It also tries to contrast this theoretical and legal framework with the real land management through the statement and analysis of the main conflicts that the Cantabrian region lives nowadays.
