Abstract
The availability of information relating to sociodemographics variables, in digital format, is one of the basic questions that needs to be resolved in advance in the treatment of social problematics, through the use of Geographic Information Technologies. This paper presents a methodological proposal for the unmixing aggregate data of this type of variables, starting from the information in the census, applying the technique of Remote Sensing and the Geographical Information Systems. The proposed method of calculation starts with the transfer of demographic information, distributed homogeneously, into appropiate administrative units, to urban plots of different density buildings, through the technique of weighted «insertion of areas».
