Abstract
The work offers the first approximation to the development of the agriculture of irrigation in Morocco, taking as a reference Tadla-Azilal’s territorial area, for constituting one of the initial points of the actions in policies of irrigation. Chronologically two phases are established; one, from the beginning of the French settling up to the independence and other one from this date to the present day. In both phases the actions appear very important.
