Abstract
The environment is a concept widely used today by French geographers to discuss the close relationship between man and his environment. The term «environment» has started to spread in the 1970’s in the French geographical discourse but often understood at that time as synonymous with the physical environment. Especially after 1980 as the environment becomes a field of study and applications which belongs to both aspects of the physical environment and human interventions investigated in systemic and dynamic approaches. So, geo-environmental approach considers not only the interactions between natural and social context, but also the production and construction process and renew now rethinking the relationship between nature and culture.
