Abstract
According to recent research the Norte Grande Argentino is the poorest territory of the country. The conjecture is that this condition has not changed significantly in recent years. This paper seeks to interpret the link between poverty and child mortality, which is manifested in so-called «poverty diseases». Arises as to contribute to the formulation of public policies that allow the construction of a more balanced territory.
