Abstract

More and more the social and environmental questions are topic of multidisciplinary analysis, where the geography also plays its paper. By the present work we make a statistical and space analysis to study the behavior of the Socio-environmental Vulnerability in the Historical Center of Havana. This investigation establishes a general index and different sub-indexes that allow to determine several vulnerability levels in this territory, as well as the more affected areas with this classifications. Each one of the sub-indexes corresponds to a dimension of the environment for the study area, so you can determine which of these intervenes in a significant way in the Socio-environmental Vulnerability. This analysis is make in a similar way with each one of the variables selected to conform the indexes, also being able to check its influence in the results exposed by the same ones.
