The present work is a reflection on the deconstrucción of the Portuguese-Andalusian border and its territorial dialectical of construction, it breaks, territorial development and its current strategy of articulation across bridges. The deactivation of the border effect and the incorporation of their territories to wider economic spaces face to the communities from the line to one of the biggest challenges in their history, where the metadiscourse about the ordination of the territory and the territorial vertebration are made in benefit of the road network of Andalusia and Portugal, but not of the border space.
