Abstract
River Nile valley: from geography to myth. The economic, cultural and social development of the ancient Egyptian civilization has been constantly conditioned by river Nile existence, its floods and the numerous resources, that this river has supplied to the population settled in its valley and mouth troughout the times. However, the geographic reality of river Nile has been present in the religious frame of this civilization, making one of the main bases for the mythologic structure in pharaonic Egypt culture.
